SECI issues Rajasthan solar projects tender for 10 MW

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued a request for selection (RfS) to establish 10 MW of grid-connected solar power projects in Bagru, Jaipur district of Rajasthan. The final date for proposal submission is July 24, 2020. The maximum tariff payable to the project developer is set at about Rs 3.20 (~$0.04)/kWh for 25 years.

The project will be built according to the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model on a build, own, operate (BOO) basis. The project will be completed within eight months of the power-purchase agreement being concluded. In addition, the projects will be allocated in 10 MW packages, and a maximum of one package could be allocated under the RfS and will be connected at 33 kV to the grid substation Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPNL) located in Bagru.
