NTPC has commissioned the first 150 MW unit of its Kameng hydropower project
The remaining three units of 150 MW each are expected to be commercially operational within 2020-21. The Kameng project has been set up by North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary company of NTPC Limited. With the commissioning of this project, NTPC group’s commercial capacity has reached 61,936 MW.
