Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has received a letter of award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to develop a 100 MW solar PV project in Maharashtra.
The energy will be supplied to MSEDCL under a 25 year long PPA. The project is required to be commissioned within 18 months from the date of execution of the PPA. Earlier this week, TPREL had received LoA from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for setting up a 120 MW solar project in the state. With these two projects, TPREL’s cumulative capacity of renewables reach 3,557 MW.
