NTPC has commissioned the second 150 MW unit of its Kameng hydropower project.
In June 2020, the first unit of 150 MW was made commercially operational. The remaining third unit of 150 MW of the plant is expected to be commercially operational in 2020-21. The aggregate capacity of the plant is 450 MW (3x150MW). At present, NTPC group’s commercial capacity has reached to 62,086 MW.
