SECI issues tender for 1.07 GW grid-connected projects in Rajasthan

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for setting up 1,070 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic power projects in Rajasthan.

The developers will be allowed to submit a single bid for any quantity starting from a minimum size of 10 MW going up to 1,070 MW. The projects would to be set up on a build-own-operate basis and can be situated anywhere in the state. SECI would enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidder and sell the power procured to Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. The projects have a commissioning period of 18 months from the effective date of the PPA.
