Oman has issued the Request for Proposals (RfP) for two solar photovoltaic projects with a combined capacity of more than 1 GW.
The tender is for the Manah Solar I and Manah Solar II independent power projects (IPP), each with a capacity of between 500 MW and 600 MW. The capacity is planned to be installed at Manah in Al Dakhiliyah governorate, northeastern Oman, and is due to become operational in the summer of 2023.
