The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has commissioned a 30 MW solar power plant at Manuguru in Telangana.
This is part of the 129 MW solar plants planned by SCCL in the first phase. Earlier, a 10 MW solar project was commissioned at Jaipur in Mancherial district of the state. Another 50 MW solar plant will come up in Ramagundam-3 area and a 30 MW project is under implementation in Yellandu. Further, SCCL is planning to roll out solar power plants to generate 300 MW in various parts of Telangana.
