Genus Power Infrastructures Limited has become the first company in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve the milestone of supplying 1.5 million smart meters to Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). EESL is playing a vital role in implementing the Ministry of Power’s ambitious plan of rolling out 240 million smart meters over the next three years as planned. Genus has a large installed base of more than 60 million electricity meters and has embarked on an ambitious programme of smart metering. The company is currently exporting its products to the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
