Gurugram-based O2 Power, Azure Power, Tata Power and Amp Energy have emerged as winners in NTPC’s 1.2 GW ISTS solar tender. The lowest tariff quoted in the tender was Rs 2.43 per kWh.
O2, Azure, and Tata have secured project capacities of 400 MW, 300 MW, and 370 MW, respectively, at a tariff of Rs 2.43 per kWh. Amp Energy won 100 MW of capacity at a tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh. The tender has a minimum capacity utilisation factor condition of 19 per cent and a commissioning timeline of 24 months. The tender was oversubscribed and had received bids of about 1.7 GW of capacity.
