Torrent Power Limited has recorded over 35 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 3.73billion for June quarter 2020-21.
The company’s net profit was Rs 2.76 billion in the previous year. Its total income was Rs 30.41 billion in the quarter as compared to Rs 37.90 billion in the same period a year ago. According to the company decrease in interest cost, mainly due to repayment of loans and reduction in interest rates, was one of the growth drivers during the quarter.
