Uzbekenergo plans construction of energy-saving substation in Tashkent region

JSC Uzbekenergo is planning to build a 500/220/10 kV, 1,400 MVA modern energy-saving substation and associated 410-km-long power lines.

The power lines will be located in the Quyi Chirchiq district of Tashkent region. Of the total line length, 322-km-long lines will be at 220 kV and the rest at 500 kV. The tender for the works is expected to be rolled out during 2021-early 2022, for the selection of a contractor. Construction and installation work will be carried out in 2022-23. The commissioning of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.
