Tata Power reports a 10 per cent increase in consolidated PAT at Rs 2.68 billion, also merges its solar EPC business

Tata Power’s consolidated profit after tax (PAT) after exceptional items reported a 10 per cent increase at Rs 2.68 billion for the June 2020 quarter, as compared to Rs 2.43 billion in April-June 2019.

The company’s consolidated revenues during the June 2020 quarter stood at Rs 66.71 billion as compared to Rs 75.67 billion in the corresponding period last financial year. In another development, Tata Power has announced that its three wholly-owned subsidiaries, Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (CGPL), Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL) and Af-Taab Investment Company (Af-Taab) are proposed to be merged with the parent company for greater synergies in financing, compliance and oversight.
