The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has notified the procedure for verification of captive generating plant (CGP) status in accordance with requirements in Rule 3 of the Electricity Rules, 2005.
This procedure will be applicable from 2020-21 and will be applicable to all the power plants that generate power for captive consumption and the captive users.
