Power ministry inaugurates CSR projects of PFC and REC in Bihar

The union power ministry has inaugurated 74 projects developed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and 14 projects of REC Limited as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).

PFC’s projects include roads, chhath ghats, LED, solar and high-mast lights, assembly platforms, community centres, and bridges. These projects have been built with cost of Rs 96.7 million. PFC’s overall development projects worth Rs 228 million have been carried out in the state’s Arrah district. For REC, there were a total of 14 schemes, which included eight schemes for construction of P.C.C. roads, three schemes for installation of LED/solar and high mast lights, construction of three community halls. The main objective of the project is to improve and provide basic infrastructure & developmental facilities in the villages of Koilwar block in Bhojpur district.
