Hartek Power wins order to lay underground cables

Hartek Power Private Limited has won an order from the Chandigarh electricity department for laying underground electricity cables and heavy duty electricity wiring in four sectors – 7, 9, 11 and 26. The project will cost Rs 80.5 million and is scheduled to be completed by December 2020. The existing power infrastructure in these sectors is more than 50 years old. Hartek Power has also been assigned the task of converting overhead transformers into compact underground substations as a part of the project.
