Dutch Development Bank FMO invests $5 million in Husk Power

Husk Power Systems, a Bihar-based off-grid renewable energy start-up, has received a fund of $5 million from Dutch development bank FMO.

Husk Power operates renewable energy mini-grids in Asia and Africa. The $5 million investment from FMO, was deployed from its Infrastructure Development Fund, followed by a $20 million investment in 2018 by Shell, Swedfund, and ENGIE Rassembleurs D’Energies.
