Tamil Nadu government signs 14 MoUs worth Rs 100 billion

The Tamil Nadu government has signed 14 MoUs for attracting investments worth 100 billion in the state.

JSW Renew Energy Limited has committed the highest investment of Rs 63 billion to set up 810 MW of hybrid renewable projects in Tuticorin, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli and Tiruppur, and 50 MW of captive wind energy project in Rameswaram district. Meanwhile, US-based TPI Composites has signed an MoU for a Rs 3 billion expansion of wind blade manufacturing facility. In addition, Li-Energy will invest Rs 3 billion for EV battery packs manufacturing.
