Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has recently commissioned a 220/132/ 33 kV grid substation at Baner in Kalahandi district.
In addition, two 33 kV feeder lines from the grid to the Badkutru and Ladugaon villages were commissioned. These transmission facilities will aid the process of direct power evacuation from the 600 MW Indravati hydropower project, benefitting around 30,000 consumers from over 120 villages spread over the Jaipatna, Koksara and Kalampur blocks of Kalahandi district.
