Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) licensee Isgec Heavy Industries, Limited (Isgec) has secured its first order for a semi-dry FGD (circulating fluidized bed scrubbers) system in India from Hindalco Industries Limited.
The project was won through a competitive bidding process for Hindalco’s 150 MW unit at Mahan Aluminium at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, India. The scope of the project includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, civil works, construction, commissioning and performance guarantee testing for the complete semi-dry flue gas desulphurization system package (SDFGD).
