ANDRITZ bags equipment contract for 32 MW hydro power plant in Nepal

ANDRITZ has received an order from the KC Group to supply turbines, generators and auxiliaries for the 32 MW Karuwa Seti hydropower plant in Nepal.

The contract comprises design, engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of three 10.66 MW Francis turbines and generators as well as auxiliaries for the electrical and mechanical equipment. The project is expected to start operations in March 2023. KC Group Nepal is a private company with diversified businesses and targets to operate 100 MW of combined, renewable energy production by the end of 2023.
