NTPC Limited recently celebrated its 46th raising day. The virtual event was marked by the presence of R.K. Singh, minister of state for power, new and renewable energy, and Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, secretary, power. The ceremony was attended by officials from across the country via online platforms. On the occasion, the commercial operation of the second unit (880 MW) of the Lara STPP in Chhattisgarh was also announced.
