JSW Energy’s consolidated net profit remained almost at Rs 3.52 billion in the September quarter this financial year.
The total income declined to Rs 19.99 billion in the second quarter, from Rs 22.31 billion in the same period last year. It has generated 6.65 billion units of electricity in the reporting quarter compared to 6.7 billion units a year ago. Further, finance costs slipped to Rs 2.07 billion in the quarter, from Rs 2.72 billion in the corresponding period previous year, attributable primarily to proactive debt repayments.
