Andhra Pradesh has installed renewable energy generation capacity of about 8,321 MW till November 30, 2020.
The state had an installed renewable energy capacity of about 8,207 MW till September-end and 8,203 MW till July-end this year. Of the 8,321 MW capacity installed till November, wind energy projects took the largest share with 4,080 MW capacity, followed by solar energy with a capacity of 3,649 MW commissioned. Solar capacity addition in November saw an increase of 3.2 per cent from 3,535 MW capacity recorded in September 2020. Whereas, wind capacity addition saw no change since last month.
