Bihar to get 1,120 MW of power from Nabinagar Power Generating Company’s project

A unit of 660 MW of NGPC’s super thermal power plant here is commercially functional since 2019. About 85 per cent of the power generated from this power project is allocated to Bihar, 10 per cent to Uttar Pradesh, 4 per cent to Jharkhand and 1 per cent to Sikkim. The second unit of the plant will start commercial production of 660 MW of electricity by December end. The synchronisation process and other technical formalities have been completed.  The total production will thus increase to 1320MW.
