Malaysian PESTECH bags contract worth MYR104.23 million in Philippines

The contract has been segregated into two parts and entails an offshore portion worth MYR63.36 million and an onshore portion worth MYR40.87 million. PSB’s scope of work includes designing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning a new substation in Boracay and expanding an existing substation in Nabas, which will accommodate the new 138 kV transmission lines coming from the new Boracay substation. The project primarily aims to accommodate the projected load growth of Caticlan and Boracay Island. The commencement date of the project will be decided by NGCP in due course of time, while the duration of the work will be 420 days.
