The infra department of Nashik zone of MSEDCL had undertaken various works of putting the overhead wires to underground supply in urban areas of Nashik city, Malegaon city and several other semi-urban pockets across Nashik district besides installation of new DTCs and also augmenting of several DTCs to provide uninterrupted power supply to the residents of Nashik district as part of the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) since 2018.
