KSEB Limited all set to complete integral 220 kV facilities

The list of facilities include the 200 kV gas-insulated substation at Kaloor, 220/110 kV Brahmapuram─Thuthiyoor multi-circuit line, the 220 kV Thuthiyoor─Kaloor underground cable, and two line bays at the 220 kV Brahmapuram substation. The projects had been taken up under the Transgrid 2.0 programme implemented by KSEB to enhance the state’s transmission capacity. The latter involved the addition of new transmission lines, and upgrades to existing transmission lines and substations. All of the aforementioned facilities will collectively contribute to adequate and quality power supply for the city of Kochi over the next 30 to 40 years.
