NTPC Group records highest ever single-day generation of more than 1 billion units

The NTPC Group recorded its highest ever single-day gross generation of 1,009 MUs on January 18, 2021. It achieved a gross cumulative generation of 222.4 BUs from April to December 2020, an increase of 3.8 per cent over the same period in 2019. NTPC, being an essential services provider, maintained uninterrupted operations at its power stations throughout the multiple lockdown phases while adhering strictly to all the Covid-related guidelines issued by the government. The achievement reinforces the group’s commitment to excellence in operation across its power stations.
