Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) and REC Limited have sanctioned loans worth around Rs 1,250 billion under the liquidity package for stressed discoms.
As of January 27, 2021, REC has sanctioned Rs 659.32 billion and PFC has sanctioned Rs 590.67 billion. Further, PFC and REC have disbursed Rs 218.70 billion and Rs 242.04 billion, respectively. State-wise, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra have sought loans worth Rs 302.30 billion, Rs 274.32 billion and Rs 143.10 billion, respectively under the scheme.
