Al Sharif Group has bagged a SAR54 million contract for the design and construction of a 59-km-long, 380 kV double-circuit overhead transmission line between the 9017 and 9019 bulk supply points in Riyadh. The duration of the contract is 23 months from the date of award. NCC has bagged a SAR44 million contract for the expansion of the 380 kV Nariyah North substation. The contract broadly involves installation of 380 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), protection and control system modifications, and civil and electric-mechanical works at the existing substation. The duration of the contract is 23 months from the date of award. Hyundai has secured a SAR267 million contract for the construction of the new indoor 380/132 kV Rafha GIS substation. The duration of the contract is 29 months from the date of award.
