REC Limited has been conferred the CSR Shining Star Award for its endeavours in the field of women empowerment. The awards, instituted by the Wockhardt Foundation, were presented at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Over the years, REC, through its CSR arm, REC Foundation, has led by example in uplifting and improving citizens’ lives. It has extensively provided aid in the fields of sanitation, hygiene, societal development and education.
