Hyderabad-based Premier Energies is setting up a new facility at an investment of Rs 4.83 billion in Hyderabad.
The plant will produce 1.5 GW of solar cells and modules against the current capacity of 500 MW and is expected to be commissioned in the next two months. The new manufacturing unit will produce MCCE textured multi-crystalline cells as well as mono PERC cells. Premier Energies is an independent power producer which owns and operates over 250 MW solar power plants across the country.
