The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has extended the bid submission deadline for its tender for the commissioning of a 20 MW (AC) solar PV power plant (50 MWp DC) with 20 MW/50 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Phyang in Leh, Ladakh.
The last date for bid submission has been extended from February 10, 2021, to February 24, 2021. The techno-commercial bids will now be opened on the new bid deadline date. The tender was issued in late December. The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commission of the solar and battery storage system. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the systems for a prior of 10 years from the date of successful commissioning.
