The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO) to encourage research in the domestic power sector.
TERI and POSOCO have agreed to collaborate together to strengthen research-industry interaction for knowledge sharing and capacity building. In addition, the MoU pertains to further development of power system simulation models, integration of resource planning, including demand and supply, on a short-term, medium-term and long-term perspective. Preparation of joint reports and capacity building of state utilities is also part of the MoU.
