The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC) has issued a draft notification for the state’s renewable purchase obligation (RPO) and renewable energy certificates (REC) framework regulations for 2021-2026.
The Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) will be the designated state agency for accrediting and recommending renewable energy projects for registration. These regulations will apply to all discom, open access consumers, and captive power users in the state. The regulations are set to come into effect from April 1, 2021. Further, the commission has invited comments and suggestions on the draft regulations on or before April 8, 2021.
