J-Power USA, a local subsidy of J-Power, along with Fortress Investment Group would jointly developthe project. While Birchwood Solar will be a 50 MWac solar generation plant, Birchwood Storage will be a 190 MWac energy storage facility. The project construction and redevelopment will begin from 2022, while the plant is expected to commence commercial operations from 2023.
