The power will be procured by JBVNL on a long-term basis under the gross metering arrangement through a competitive bidding process.The generic tariff for the JBVNL consumers who want to supply electricity to the utility under gross metering arrangement has been determined at Rs 4.16 per kWh, which will be treated as the upper ceiling tariff under the tender. The projects will be built under the renewable energy service company model wherein the developer will own the solar project, and the consumer will only have to pay for the energy generated.
