Schneider Electric partners with 1,000 suppliers to help cut carbon emissions

Schneider Electric has partnered with 1,000 suppliers to help reduce their carbon emissions by 50 per cent by 2025, under the zero-carbon project. Under the project,  Schneider Electric will provide tools and resources to the participants so as to help them achieve carbon reduction targets.

The suppliers will first quantify their carbon dioxide emissions using the company’s digital tools. The data willthen be utilised to set goals and strategies for emissions reduction. Further, Schneider aims to reduce scope 3 emissions by 35 per cent by 2030.
