MSEDCL launches tenders for 1.3 GW capacity of solar power projects

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has launched tenders to invite bids for ground-mounted solar projects of 1.3 GW capacity.

The projects will be developed under the ‘Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana’ in 29 districts in Maharashtra with 25 MW or 50 MW of maximum capacity in each district. Theproject developers can bid for a minimum of 2 MW capacity per district and a maximum of 10 MW capacity per individual project. The ceiling tariff has been fixed at Rs 3.05 per kWh and the last date for bids is May 17, 2021.
