KEA launches tender for 2 GW solar power capacity

The Korea Energy Agency (KEA), South Korea has floateda tender for over 2 GW of solar power capacity, the largest solar tender in the country so far.

KEA plans to allocate 2,050 MW in five project categories: projects of less than 100 kW, projects with capacity ranging from 100 to 500 kW, PV arrays with a capacity ranging from 500 kW to 1 MW, solar parks with an installed capacity between 1 MW and 20 MW, and solar power plants exceeding 20 MW. The result of the tender will be announced on July 16, 2021 and the contracts will be awarded in August 2021.
