The projects will be developed either under the build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) model, or the design, build, operate, and transfer (DBOT) model, or the power purchase agreement (PPA) model. The successful bidder will have the responsibility of operation and maintenance activities of the projects for 40 years for hydropower projects and 25 years for solar, wind, and biomass projects. Their other responsibilities include the possible evacuation arrangement to the nearest 33/11 kV substation. The power department will assist in providing land to set up the projects. The last date to submit the bids has been extended to May 30, 2021.
