Morocco’s Office National de l’Electricitéet de l’Eau Potable (ONEE) has invited international competitive bids for the construction of the 225/60 kV Gulemim II substation and drawdown lines. .
The MAD74 million contract is financially being supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB). The contract involves undertaking studies, civil engineering works, supply of extra-high voltage, high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage equipment; any additional equipment, undertaking assembly work, drawdown 225 kV and 60 kV lines, transportation and installation of supply equipment, and executing commissioning tests. The duration of the contract will be 18 months from the date of award, with the deadline for submission of bids as July 7, 2021.
