AC Energy to build 160 MW wind farm at Philippines

Philippines based AC Energy Corporation has planned to build thecountry’s largest wind farm of 160 MW capacity.

The Balaoi and Caunayan wind farm will be constructed in Pagudpud municipality in Ilocos Norte province at Luzon. The wind farm will consist of32 wind turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa. The project will be in partnership with affiliate UPC Renewables. The cost of the project will be about USD239 million. AC Energy aims to complete it in the last quarter of 2022 and to make it commercially operational by 2023.
