MPUVNL invites bids for 270 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under PM KUSUM

The Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has floated tenders for setting up 270 MW of grid-connected solar power projects of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evamUtthanMahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) program.

The projects will be of capacity 500 kW to 2 MW under component A of the programme and the power generated from them will be sold to the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL). Under Component A, the government has targeted to set up 10 GW of decentralized ground-mounted grid-connected solar projects, the individual size of such projects being up to 2 MW. The last date to submit the bids is June 21, 2021.
