Suzlon will install 120units of S120-140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, withratedcapacityof2.1MWeach. The S120-140m WTGs feature the time tested Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology that efficiently integrates wind turbines into the utility network, to meet the grid requirements. This project is expected to provide electricity to nearly 0.18 million households and curb about 0.83 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year. Itisexpectedtobecommissionedin2022. Suzlon will execute the project with a scope of supply, foundation, erection and commissioning. Suzlonwillalsoprovidecomprehensiveoperationandmaintenanceservices post commissioning.
