EESL signs MoUs with MECON and Lemon Tree Hotels

EESL has signed an MoU with MECON Limited to form a strategic partnership to support the implementation of various energy efficiency and resource conservation measures in the steel and mining industries. These include solutions for energy efficiency, clean energy and other ancillary services in the steel and mining industry. Through this partnership, EESL and MECON aim to jointly provide solutions such as retrofitting of LED lights, deployment of energy efficient motors (IE3 type) in place of conventional motors, and EV transportation with necessary charging infrastructure in the steel industry. EESL has also signed an MoU with Lemon Tree Hotels Limited for implementing energy efficiency and energy conservation measures at select Lemon Tree properties. During the three-year engagement, both companies will work together to identify areas for improving energy efficiency and leveraging the expertise of EESL and its subsidiary companies CESL and EPSL Trigeneration Private Limited in the areas of EVs and EV charging, air conditioning, solar rooftop installations, energy efficient pumps and motors, indoor and outdoor lighting, and energy and water audits.
