Goldi Solar plans to increase its manufacturing capacity from 500 MW to 2.5 GW with a new facility on the outskirts of Surat, Gujarat. The 2 GW expansion has been planned in two stages. The first phase is slated to commence by the end of the second quarter of 2021-22, with 1 GW of commercial production. The second phase will start by the end of the fourth quarter. The second facility will also see a new production line, introducing the first-of-its-kind micro-gap module technology.
