NHPC Limited has signed e-mobility agreements with Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) for the leasing of 25 electric vehicles (EVs) and the supply of three EV fast chargers to NHPC, including installation and commissioning. With this, NHPC will have the biggest EV fleet amongst central public sector enterprises. Earlier, NHPC had leased two EVs through EESL in 2019. Another MoU between NHPC and EESL to explore opportunities for energy efficiency and conservation in NHPC is under process.
