The three manufacturers are Icon Steel, Geetai Steels and Gajkesari Steels & Alloys. The installation includes 11 bays of state-of-the-art 132 kVgas insulated switchgears (GIS) of modular design which will enable increased efficiency, reduced operational costs and ensure safe operations even under extreme environmental conditions.The GIS will be designed as Sensgear devices and will offer data analytics applications for the transmission industry. It will help in taking real time asset related decisions and thus resultin improved performance and optimized operations.
