Wartsila to set up 30 MW power plant in Assam

Wartsila has won an award from Oil India Limited (OIL) to set up a 30 MW power plant in Assam.

Once commissioned, this plant is expected to be a main source of power for OIL’s Duliajanfacility, which currently does not have connection to the grid. Wartsila has secured this project through the international competitive bidding process and the project will be executed under a full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in November 2022.
